As a fellow runner I know ...I just found your blog. As a fellow runner I know what your going through. Last sept I injured my right it band 6 weeks until my first ever half marathon. Talk about being devastated. I took 4 weeks off, but guess what I completed my half marathon with a brace but no it pain. Don't be discouraged, you will bounce back.
